a mediocre dreamer

today i was whisked away back to europe... at least in thought. my co-workers and i took a train out of manhattan and into bronxville for a meeting. so cute. it was the coziest house with the coziest furniture and fireplace. perfect. so christmas. i told paula and patty (2 lovely ladies i met here) that i could never raise my kids here in the east coast, but if life over here is like it is in bronxville, i just might reconsider.

julie left last week and took the california sun with her =(

hence, these have become my new best friends in the sopping wet weather (although mine are sea green).

we did get to see these chubby little pugs before she left, however. they are much cuter when in pairs.
