a mediocre dreamer

i made the big move. this has been the most exhausting and exciting week ever, but here i am in nyc. in 2 weeks i've managed to completely turn my life around and it's awesome. i had no job, no place to stay, no money, and i came here anyway. when else will i ever be able to do something this irresistibly spontaneous?

some thoughts:

• this is the most psychotic, risky thing i've ever done. everyone's reaction has been "you're so crazy, but that's so cool."
• my feet have seen no rest since i've arrived. i think they are permanently blackened.
• it is impossible to find comfortable yet fashionable shoes. i've already purchased 2 pairs that have failed me.
• i love my jobs. how many ppl can say that?
• my co-workers are awesome and dang hot.
  
• even new york city has its share of jackasses, but i won't let those few lame ones ruin my experience here.
• i'm amazed at how well i've been able to function on so little sleep. working nights is tough.
• i have absolutely no concept of time here.
  

i don't know what else but i'll leave you with this:
something about this place just makes you wanna do things you never imagined =)

you know those advertisements that say "great cheese come from happy cows. happy cows come from california"? well today i realized that double zygote eggs come from fertile chickens. fertile chickens MUST come from california.

well right outside my work building i saw this and nearly freaked out.


but then i noticed all the cameras, lights, and trucks and realized they were shooting a music video. a free lollipop to the one who can identify the artist.

my, my what lovely weather california has been having the past 2 days. a light breeze and golden rays of the sun poking through the clouds. makes you wanna lounge on your patio furniture, have garden parties, and drink iced tea. i love fall.
