TRANSIT Strike 2005
the new york mta has decided to strike, leaving all subway and bus services suspended until a compromise is reached. i get to join the cattle herd and walk 10 miles to and from work in the meantime crossing the manhattan bridge. freakin brooklyn.

marriage
me: so i found out that yet another one of my friends is engaged.
amy: how old?
me: well he's a year older and she's my age, AND my other friend who's even younger than me is getting married in a week.
