i think not. i spent my friday night sulking around and eating molten chocolate cake. according to c.s. lewis "repentance is no fun at all... It means unlearning all the self-conceit and self-will that we have been training ourselves into for thousands of years."

in that case, i'll be needing a lot more chocolate cake and perhaps a good flogging too.

• completed Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and cried for the last 57 pages
• currently reading Mere Christianity by CS Lewis and The Legacy of Biblical Womanhood by Susan Hunt and Barbara Thompson
