so there i was, a pile of blobbage on the bed with my head hanging over the side munching on turkey jerky, taken aback by the fact that though i was swallowing upside-down my food was still making its way down my esophagus and i was still able to choke on a piece of it... all thanks to the fascinating phenomena of peristalsis. ask me to show you the dance i made up in honor of this marvel.
