there's so much to say that i get sleepy when i think of how much information i have to post. you'll get a pretty little nutshell in any case. being that it's winter break and most people are back on telephone modem, i wonder how many of you are actually reading...
i'm in venice right now and i have a week more left of major travelling, then hopefully i'll be on an early flight home. it's been tough travelling with my sisters. i can go on about that forever, but i'll leave it for those who are interested enough to ask in person. paris had many terrorist threats and airport security blew up an unattended luggage at one of the arrival gates. geneva took the boot after our flight was cancelled due to a strike and munich was cut short cuz it pretty much closed down for the holidays. vienna was below freezing and i swear my ears could be used as ice cubes. we literally just stuck our drinks on the outer window sill to get them cold, and the scary thing is, they really were refreshingly icy afterwards. 4 star hotel wasn't a bad addition either. it was also my first time in real extended snowfall; pretty but also very messy. venice welcomed us with rain and a $300 hotel bill (for only 2 nights, mind you). we'll see how the rest of it goes.
there's too much to say and i'm sure i won't get it across right anyhow. i'm counting on my journal entries to remind me of everything forever (thanks jahndee, sewon, and kristy! it comes in way handy). hope everyone's christmas was magical and have a blessed new year too!
