ooooo my... so it's 8:15am and i just got back from my little excursion with the study gang. sewon, kristy, lil jenny, jahndee, margaret, roy, and i all pretty much ditched out studying and took off to treasure island where we fought the wind, sang songs, all while watching an awesome view of the city skyline and bay bridge.
first of all, we crammed 7 ppl into sewon's tiny corolla (3 in front and 4 smushed in the back), and when we got to treasure island it was butt freezing. the wind was blowing away, but the view was totally worth it. we were right along the bay and took tons of pictures. hahahahha.. wut a sight. 6 girls and roy sitting along the rocks below the bay bridge singing praise songs (music provided by the talented and pimp-of-the-day royboy) at a naval base. this man kept coming out to see what we were doing and i thought for a moment that he'd yell at us, what with his flashlights glaring and all. but it all turned out ok, cuz we sang till the sun came up and until roy's fingers turned purple and then instead of coming back home, we headed off to the city to have breakfast. woohoo IHOP!
i gotta say, that was one of the funniest breakfasts i've ever had... roy ordered this steak omelette that turned out to be freakin huge! hahahah he was being sucha heffer. jahndee was making cracks at him the whole night and then somehow towards the end he just started cracking: spoonerisms "paller than taul," talking to his omelette "oooh i hate you..." and then totally getting intoxicated off his breakfast and saying the most strangest things i've ever heard while the rest of us were laughing so hard our breakfast almost came back out. (hahahhahaha, really, you just had to be there).
and then on our way back, we were just telling stupid jokes but it was funny nonetheless. aaaaaaw... that was the best morning i've had in such a long time, i wanna thank you guys who were there sooooo very much. i really needed that, and i think it was an excellent way to start my day. i'm gonna try to absorb every ounce of laughter and direct it to my studies...
we really have to do that again, alright guys? i know the trip was worth what few hours we might have been away from the books.. and i know nights/mornings like these are what we'll remember in the future. thanks guys, i love you guys so much.
rock finals!
